Pasties

Ingredients

500gms minced meat

one onion minced

2 medium grated carrots – 600 gm

4 large grated potatoes squeezed (to get water out)

salt and pepper

1 dessertspoon of soy sauce

2 x packet of (6) puff pastry. Cut into circles about size of small soup bowl or cut each sheet into 4 squares and shape.

Mix ingredients thoroughly by hand. Place small amount of mixture in middle of pastry circle. Brush top with beaten egg and a little milk. Prick with fork. Place in  oven (180 C) for 20-25 minutes. Makes 40 to 48 pasties
