Rice with Peas Pilav
2 cups peas
1 cup long grain rice
1 onion chopped
1 stick celery chopped
3 cups chicken stock
60g butter
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Saute onion and celery in pan with butter. Cook on low heat until tender. Add rice cook for a few minutes stirring constantly. Add stock and peas. Reduce heat to low and simmer until stock has been absorbed. Add parmesan cheese with a dob of butter then add salt and pepper to taste.iki
